Nomenclature

Caroline and Justine are named after two characters in Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. Caroline is named after Victor Frankenstein's mother, Caroline Frankenstein (née Beaufort), and Justine is named after Justine Moritz, the nanny of Victor's younger brother William.
