Nagisa Kamisiro is the protagonist of Persona 5: The Phantom X. He is the leader of Phantom Thieves and goes by the code name Wonder. The name Nagisa Kamisiro became the protagonist's default name in the 2025 Japan, Global, and SEA release. Subsequently, the name was later adopted for Version 4.4 Trailer in the Mainland China, Taiwan and Korea.
Profile
The protagonist is the playable character of Persona 5: The Phantom X. Much like other protagonists in the Persona series, he is mostly silent, and his personality is determined by player choice. It is noted as the start that he lacks desire, and has trouble filling out a worksheet on what he wishes to do after he finishes school.
Gameplay
Much like Ren Amamiya, he is a wild card meaning that, while he starts with only Jánošík, he can recruit or summon many other types of Personas throughout the game. He can also partake in different jobs or activities to increase his social stats.

Originally, he did not have a default name because protagonists of the Persona series are meant to be the players themselves. However, it was eventually added for those who find it difficult to choose a name.[1]
Nomenclature
The spelling Kamisiro uses the kunrei-shiki romanization scheme rather than the Hepburn romanization scheme more commonly used in the anglosphere; in Hepburn, it would be romanized Kamishiro.
