Terminals are large rooms that allow Flynn to teleport between them. Once he gains access to the one in the Sky Tower, he is able to use it to travel to the one in Mikado. The Terminals in Tokyo are guarded by the Terminal Guardian, which Flynn must defeat in each Terminal Room before he can use them.
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Terminals behave as in Shin Megami Tensei IV, though they are undefended as Flynn had already reactivated them.
Shin Megami Tensei V
The Tokyo Diet Building and Jouin University Medical Research Lab contain Terminals modeled after Amala Drums. They function identically to Leyline Founts.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
In the Canon of Vengeance, the Nahobino's room in the Jouin High School Dorm is fitted with a small Terminal on his desk.
Giten Megami Tensei: Tokyo Revelation

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
Digital Devil Saga series
There are three types of Terminals:
- Small Terminals allow the party to save, acquire Mantras and teleport to Large Terminals.
- Life Terminals allow the party to pay to recover HP (♄Macca1 per 1 HP) and MP (♄Macca3 per 1 MP).
- Large Terminals combine the functions of Small and Life Terminals and are located in rooms that house them.

Terminals are secret devices used by JP's for various purposes, the primary one being to teleport between specialized rooms in each of JP's headquarters, though some manage sealed Demons or control other devices. The transport Terminals are initially disabled, though an attack by Demons and an earthquake forces Fumi Kanno to repair them so the Protagonist, Makoto Sako and Otome Yanagiya can reach Osaka. They remain active so that the members of JP's can freely travel between them.
Due to the Void encroaching on Fukuoka, Fumi was ordered to shut it down, while JP's covered up the incident, though Ronaldo Kuriki manages to uncover a photo of the Void. Upon learning of it, the Protagonist, Io Nitta, Airi Ban and Hinako Kujou convince Fumi to re-enable the Terminal and Makoto to take them to Fukuoka against Yamato Hotsuin's orders, though he decides against punishing them for it.
Later, one Terminal is empowered by the Dragon Stream and Alcor's power to reach the Akasha Stratum.
