Samyaza is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Shemihaza[a] or Shemhazai[b] is a fallen angel first mentioned in some Second Temple Jewish writings, including the Book of Enoch and the Book of Giants. In Enoch, he is one of the two main leaders of the Watchers along with Azael.[1] The Book of Giants presents him as penitent.[2]
Shemhazai also appears in later Rabbinic literature. He is briefly mentioned in Niddah 61a of the Talmud, where he is said to be an ancestor of the Amorite and Bashanite kings Sihon and Og (Numbers 21). In aggadic writings, he appears as a fallen angel in conjunction with Azael;[3][4] note however that Azael is paired with Uzza[c] instead in other traditions (such as Yoma 67b in the Talmud).
