Hokuto Seikun, also known as Beiji-Weng or Beidou Xingjun, is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Origin

Beidou Xingjun (北斗星君 [zh]) is the god of the Northern Dipper constellation in Taoism. Beidou Xingjun is associated with death, while Nandou Xingjun, god of the Southern Dipper, is associated with life.

Nomenclature

Hokuto Seikun/Beidou Xingjun means "Star Lord of the Northern Dipper". The localized name Beiji-Weng appears to come from the Chinese 北極仙翁 běijí xiān wēng, meaning "Immortal Old Man of the North Pole".
