Shin Megami Tensei Card Game: Nocturne Ver. Part 2 is the second expansion of the Shin Megami Tensei Card Game, released in 2004 by Media Factory.
Overview
There are 140 cards in the set, numbered from 202-342. Cards in this set are based on characters, demons, and other information from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
Releases
Limited Edition Expansion Pack
The Limited Edition Expansion Pack[a] was a bundle containing five Expansion Packs from Part 2, a small figure, and a promo card. The packs were available to purchase starting February 14, 2004. Three options were available; the first contained an Abaddon figure and a Taira no Masakado card, the second contained a Nekomata figure and a card of the Demi-fiend with the Musubi Reason, and the third contained a Cu Chulainn figure and a card featuring Hikawa. Bulk boxes containing all three packs were also available. Both the single and bulk boxes were only sold while supplies lasted.[1]
By mailing in a postcard with the barcodes of the three different packs attached, players were entered into a lottery to win a limited edition figure of Tam Lin, which was a version of Cu Chulainn's with alternate coloring. The figure could also be won through a point-ticket campaign and as a prize in the Master Ranking #1 contest.[2]
Expansion Pack
The Expansion Pack[b] was a single booster pack containing 10 cards. A bundle box of 20 packs was also available and contained a bonus card at random.[1]
