Atlus Web-EZ[a] was a website dedicated to Atlus games for the EZweb mobile internet service created by au, a subsidiary of the Japanese telecommunications company KDDI. It launched on June 3, 2004.[1] For a monthly fee of ¥315, users could access a variety of Megami Tensei-related content, including games, wallpapers, and ringtones. The website was compatible with cellphone models that supported the EZ Apli BREW application service.[2]
The service featured Wallpaper Collection, which provided themed calendars and images; Ringtone Collection, which offered downloadable music from Atlus titles; Kētai Akuma Densho, which allowed users to collect wallpapers accompanied by descriptions of demons; Atlus Game Info, which distributed news about Atlus releases; and Treasure BOX, which provided access to rare digital items.[3]
