The Wii is a home video game console developed by Nintendo as the successor to the Nintendo GameCube. It was released on November 19, 2006 in North America, December 2, 2006 in Japan, and December 8, 2006 in Europe.
While no Megami Tensei titles were developed for the Wii, emulated re-releases of several titles were available for purchase via the Virtual Console service. These require the use of either a Classic Controller or GameCube controller and cannot be played using the standard Wii Remote.
