Rusalka is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Rusalka is an umbrella term for various female spirits in the folklore of the Slavic-speaking peoples of Eastern Europe; they are associated with water, forests, and fields. Outside of academic use, the term did not become widespread until the 20th century. As an umbrella term, the folklore and names vary widely between regions; examples of local names include vodyanitsa (feminine of vodyanik) in northern Russia and mavka in Ukraine.

In present-day usage, the rusalka is often equated with the Western European mermaid.

Design

In Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II, Rusalka has the same base design as Bodyconian and Elf. She has blue skin and blonde hair.

In Shin Megami Tensei, Rusalka has the same base design as Undine. She has green skin and blonde hair.
