Mikage Police Station is a location in Megami Ibunroku Persona. It is the first dungeon the party has to take on during the SEBEC Route of the game, in order to rescue Mark and Brown.

Gameplay

The location can be visited before visiting Mikage Hospital, but the party will leave after a short conversation. It turns into a dungeon and becomes accessible after the protagonist decides to take on SEBEC while at St. Hermelin High School.

At the entrance of the Police Station, a key box holding a Prison Key can be found in the upper right corner of the room. Getting the item will allow access to the dungeon.

When the party reached the 1F Holding Cell, the party open the cells of Mark and Brown. A scripted fight happens and Brown awakens to his Persona Nemhain. A level-up automatically happens upon victory.

Mark joins the party following the fight. Brown then asks if he can join the party. If the protagonist decides to "let them join", Brown will become a party member for the rest of the game. If the protagonist rejects him instead, he will leave and cannot be recruited into the party again, allowing for Elly, Ayase or Reiji to be recruited later.

Once the events at the 1F Holding Cell have been completed, the dungeon cannot be entered again after leaving. The Velvet Room becomes available after the dungeon's completion.

Game Appearances

Megami Ibunroku Persona

Before visiting Mikage Hospital, the party can visit the Police Station. The lieutenant questions Mark about his behaviour, but an officer calls the lieutenant out for his harsh remark, stating Mark is not a troublemaker anymore. After Mark gives a vague answer, the party leaves.

Following the earthquake that hit Mikage-cho, demons start appearing all over town, and by the time Elly joins the party at Mikage Hospital, the Police Station has been overrun by demons. After the party talks with Setsuko Sonomura at the Alaya Shrine, Mark and Nanjo leave the party, and eventually make their way to the Police Station after Mark mentions getting weapons from there.

During the SEBEC Route, as the protagonist is about to leave St. Hermelin High School with Maki, Nanjo emerges from the hole in the 1F Passageway, and informs the group that demons captured Mark at the Police Station, who is still holding the Security Card leading into the SEBEC Building. After Nanjo gives the protagonist and Maki guns that he found at the Police Station, the group heads to Mark's rescue.

When the group arrives at the Police Station, the group searches and find the keys to the cells where Mark is held. Once at the 1F Holding Cell, the party discovers Mark and Brown behind bars. Maki opens the door of their cells, and the two are free. Brown says he also came to the Police Station to retrieve weapons, but ended up getting caught.

But before the group can leave, the lieutenant turned demon and some demon officers discover that the prisoners are escaping and attacks the group. Brown witnesses the protagonist, Maki, Nanjo and Mark all summon their Personas to fight the demons. The Gremlin leading the demons attacks Brown with a Bufu spell, but Brown ends up awakening to his Persona Nemhain and defeats the demon.

After the fight is done and the party explains Personas to Brown, Mark decides to join the party. He gives the player the security card needed to infiltrate the SEBEC Building, and Nanjo gives him a firearm. Brown then asks the group if he can join them. If the protagonist accepts, he will stay with the party, and Nanjo will also give him a firearm. Otherwise, if rejected, he will head back to school. The party then leaves the Police Station and heads to the Abandoned Factory to infiltrate the SEBEC Building.

During the Snow Queen Route, by the time the protagonist retrieves the Snow Queen Mask from the Gym Storage, Mark and Nanjo have returned from the Police Station. However during their exploration, Nanjo got hurt, and has to recover at the school infirmary. He ends up giving guns to Ayase, who keeps one for herself.
