Hohenheim Lab is a location in Last Bible Special.

Gameplay

Hohenheim Lab is the third dungeon, consisting of seven floors. It features a variety of traps, such as pitfalls, spinning floors, trapped chests, and one-way doors; in addition, Hohenheim himself will often appear and teleport Mattel to various locations throughout the facility, in an attempt to dissuade him from continuing and disorient him.

Hohenheim Lab is the home of its namesake, Hohenheim, who was sealed here by Gryas in the past. It is here that Hohenheim learned the secret of creating new life.

After stopping at Dolurae, Mattel comes here while on his journey to Jerusalem. Hohenheim appears and warns him not to enter, and becomes hostile once it is clear that he will not listen. After defeating his illusory form, Hohenheim antagonizes Mattel throughout the facility until finally he makes a stand. In an attempt to prevent Mattel from abusing that power as well, Hohenheim attacks, only to be killed. From his dying words, Mattel learns the truth that Paragon and Gryas both gained their mastery over Beasts from defeating him. Continuing further into the lab after this revelation in order to defeat Albedo, Mattel emerges victorious and can progress onwards to Damascus.
