Game Appearances
Paragon was the former captain of the temple guards at Constance Cathedral. One day, after meeting Hohenheim, he fought him and stole the secret of controlling and creating Beasts, using it to rise to power and become the head priest. Later, Paragon entrusts Mattel with this power in order to defeat Gryas, who occupies Jerusalem, the holy land.
If Mattel agrees with Gryas at Jerusalem and decides to fight Paragon, it will reveal that his goal was to destroy all Beasts and create a world for humanity alone, where he has ultimate power. After being confronted by Mattel, Paragon will denounce him and claim he has lost his humanity before being defeated in battle, agonizing that all his work was for nothing.
