This page covers gameplay information of Yosuke Hanamura across the Persona series.
Social Link
|
This section is a stub. You can help Megami Tensei Wiki by expanding it.
|
Reason: The Social Link information was compiled from the Persona 4 The Golden: The Complete Guide. It is missing:
- PS2 P4 availability schedule, rank up points, dialogue options & points, dungeon chat info
- P4G evening hangout dialogue
|
In Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, Yosuke is represented by the Magician. His Social Link begins automatically on April 16th. After, the protagonist can speak to him in the daytime to rank up his Social Link. Maxing Yosuke's Social Link transfigures his Persona to Susano-O, and he gives the protagonist the Buddy's Bandage that allows fusion of Mada.

Generally speaking, Yosuke will be available for his Social Link on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in the afternoon. He can be found on 2F of Yasogami High School on school days, and Junes on days off school.
There are some rules and exceptions and other things to note regarding his availability:
- Yosuke will not always be available in the daytime if someone is still inside the TV.
- Sometimes, Yosuke will be available on holidays that fall on days he normally will not be available.
- During December, Yosuke's available days for his afternoon Social Link are December 9, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21.[1]
- During the evening, Yosuke can found in the north area of the Central Shopping District. As the availability chart notes, he is only available for evening hangouts on specific dates, though generally you can find him there on Tuesday and Friday nights. Check the specific section for more about that.
- After unlocking Scooters, Yosuke will appear at Moel Gas Station during the daytime for scooter rides on the following dates: August 26, September 20, 27, October 26, November 1, 15, 25, January 17, 27, and February 1.[1] On these days, he will only be available for scooter rides, not his regular daytime Social Link. Furthermore, he will not be available if someone is inside the TV.
For the full list of day-by-day Social Link availability, see the Calendar in Persona 4 Golden.

Evening Hangouts
In Golden, on certain dates, you can hang out with Yosuke in the Central Shopping District during the evening. Which hangout you get is prioritized as follows: Limited > 1st time > 2nd time > generic. This resets every month. Afterwards, you will receive a random item. See the items list below to see what possible items you can obtain. For more about evening hangouts and point multipliers, see the Social Link mechanics page.

When Yosuke is not an active party member, he can sometimes be found in a room in the dungeon the protagonist and the main party are in. Depending on what rank his Social Link is, he might have special dialogue with another character who is also not in the active party. Yosuke's possible dialogue partners are Yukiko, Kanji, Teddie, and the fox. Furthermore, he can give the protagonist an item once per day: Junes Lunch or Cough Drop.
