Dizzy is a recurring status Ailment in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Dizzy causes the afflicted character to lose their turn.

Gameplay

Persona 3 Portable

In Persona 3 Portable, when a target is hit with a crit or with a skill they're weak to, they'll get knocked Down. If hit with their weakness or another crit while Down, then they get Dizzy. Regular attacks also have a chance of inflicting Dizzy on a Downed target.

Persona 3 Reload

Dizzy lasts for 2 turns. It makes a target have 15% increased chance to be crit, 0 evasion, and take 1.25x damage. There is a chance to dizzy enemies that are downed. Regular basic attacks have a higher chance to dizzy them compared to magic and skills. All-Out Attacks also have a chance to inflict dizzy.[1]

Persona 4

In Persona 4 and Golden, when a target is hit with a crit or with a skill they're weak to, they'll get knocked Down. If hit with their weakness or another crit while Down, then they get Dizzy. Regular attacks also have a chance of inflicting Dizzy on a Downed target.

Dizzy lasts for 1 turn, causes the target to lose their own turn and they are also unable to evade attacks. In Persona 4, being Dizzy also increased the likelihood of being crit.
