Profile
Origin
Metatron is an angel in Rabbinical Judaism that is mentioned in the Talmud. He is the scribe of heaven who writes down the deeds of Israel, and the Talmud also mentions and condemns a belief where Metatron was seen as a second god. Kabbalistic tradition states that he is the angelic form of Enoch after he ascended into heaven, and he is referred to as the "lesser YHWH."
Metatron is also featured in some Islamic traditions as the "angel of the veil."
Design
