Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner
- On a New Game Plus playthrough, the Demi-fiend, the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, can be fought as a boss at Anahata.
Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2
- Multiple optional bosses in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2 make reference to events and plot elements in Shin Megami Tensei II.
- The Archangels speak of the city of Tokyo Millennium[1] and the need to bring God's Millennium Kingdom to fruition.[2]
- Before the battle with Seth's solar data commences, he will note that Seraph's existence is contrary to "the one who is to judge"[3], referring to his other half of Satan, Zayin, from Shin Megami Tensei II.
- Before the battle with Satan's solar data, he will say that Seraph has chosen to retaliate just as "that man" did and that they must receive eternal punishment of damnation, referencing Aleph and his words to him[4] in Shin Megami Tensei II's Neutral and Chaos routes. His last words after being defeated[5] also directly reference his last words on those routes[6].
- Tribhvana: Air uses the Beast Speech Pattern Demon's catchphrase, Ore-sama, Omae, Marukajiri(オレサマ 才前 マルカジリ) upon the first encounter.
