Meganada is a major antagonist in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2.

Design

Meganada's appearance resembles the Embryon's Atmas. He has a prominent mouth and no eyes. He has 4 arms and is a giant. He has a beetle-like shell, and atop his head is a green crown. He has a very stout appearance with no visible neck and a very round body. He has green bug wings and a green leaf wrapped around his arms like gauntlets, similar to Vayu. On both his front and back there are several round bumps on his shell, and when it opens these are revealed as several additional mouths. These mouths are each connected to long retractable extra arms that can move independently. His entire body has ridges that resemble a drain pipe. Each of his elbows and knees have circular protective pads.

Gameplay

Meganada has two forms with different skills and resistances: a Physical form and a Magical form, which he switches between with Moksha. Both forms have access to Black Bhakti, which simply telegraphs Viraj Blade or Meru Thunder.

Meganada is a nonspeaking, roaring giant demon that Jenna Angel releases to kill the Lokapala in the Power Plant. Roland leaves the Embryon to try and kill it himself, but fails. He escapes to the controls of the Power Plant to blow it up with Meganada in it. Argilla leaves herself to assist him, only to find Meganada devouring Roland. She distracts Meganada long enough for Roland, who was still alive, to detonate the Power Plant, killing himself, Argilla and Meganada.

In the Sun, Meganada's data guards the path to God.

• After Argilla finds Roland defeated by Meganada, she refers to him as Indrajit. In the original myth, Indrajit is the title Meganada receives after defeating Indra, who is Roland's Atma Avatar
