Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play live service role-playing game for iOS, Android, and PC, and a spin-off of Persona 5 from the Persona series. It is developed by Black Wings Game Studio, and published by Perfect World Games.

The first closed beta test of the game ran from March 29, 2023, to April 1, 2023. The second closed beta, named the Awakening Test, ran from August 18, 2023 to August 25, 2023. The third closed beta, named the Heart Stealing Test, was available from January 16, 2024, through January 31, 2024. The game was released in open beta on April 12, 2024 in China, with Taiwan and Korea being released on April 18, 2024. An official Japanese Twitter account for the game appeared in September, announcing a presentation for September 25th, as well as an appearance at TGS.[1] No additional overseas availability has been announced, though global was being considered in May of 2024.[2]

    • Increased the maximum energy limit in Mementos from 180 to 240.
    • Limited 4-star weapons can now be exchanged at Iwai's Weapon Store.
    • Improved performance related to clubs and added additional dialogue illustrations.
    • Adjusted the assistance rule for the "Gate of Doom"; now only one boss can be selected as support for the players' battles in each cycle after the update.
    • Increased the Otherworldly Ambers rewards for each score target in the Gate of Doom from 60 to 80, resulting in an overall increase in rewards from 240 to 320 per cycle.
    • The position of the virtual joystick on tablets has been optimized.
    • The compatibility of controllers on PC has been optimized
    • The frame rate consumption issue on PC has been optimized. After the update, the settings on PC devices will be restored to default.
    • The baseball practice can be played without spending cash.
    • Fixed an issue where Ren Amamiya's attack boost from his Awareness Level 3 was only triggered during extra turns.
    • Fixed the issue with the task count in the Cross Fate event.
    • Fixed some issues with tasks inside the palace.
