During his second encounter, at 75% HP, Takaya will ask the protagonist what he sees in front of him. If the protagonist answers his friends or the future, Takaya will become enraged, cast Soul Drain on the protagonist to reduce all of his SP, Mamudoon on the party, and continue to target the protagonist's weaknesses for the rest of the encounter. If the protagonist answers that he only sees Takaya, Takaya will be pleased and cast Soul Drain and Mudoon on only the protagonist.[1]
