They discover the hospital to be completely empty and, while searching for their teacher, the protagonist learns that the hospital is actually a front being used by Hikawa and Yuko to survive the arrival of The Conception. The protagonist survives the event and is shortly afterward transformed into the Demi-fiend by the Blond Child and Lady in Black, in order to survive against the Demons now inhabiting the Vortex World.
