Yuko Takao is the Demi-fiend's teacher in the beginning of the game. As the Maiden of Creation, she helps Hikawa bring about the Conception in the interest of making a new world.[2]

Trivia

  • The reason she can not form a Reason is that she waited for someone to give it to her instead of making one for herself.[3] Kazuma Kaneko claimed it is because she could only think of the same world as before.[4]
  • Kazuma Kaneko designed her to be passive, dependent, and fastidious, which embodies the femininity he perceives.[5] He considered her dependency as the positive femininity, but he moderated it in case it could make her into a femme fatale.[6] He also described her as a woman who possessed both femininity and cruelty.[7]
  • In the draft, she was set to bring students to the hospital to punish them.[8]

Nomenclature

Takao is named after the legendary courtesan of Yoshiwara, whose name was passed down through generations, embodying the femininity they symbolize.[9]
