|sh=A Japanese general of the Genpei War near the end of the Heian era and start of the Kamakura era.<br>Also known as Ushiwakamaru, he is said to have learaned the art of war from the Mt. Kurama Tengu. On joining his half-brother Yoritomo's army, he defeated the Taira one by one, finishing them off at the battle of Dan-no-ura. Later, he was pursued by Yoritomo's army and killed himself at Koromogawa.
Yoshitsune appears as a young man clad in red-and-black samurai armor and a black cap. The mon of the Minamoto clan, colored red, appears on his hat and on the torso of his armor. He holds a katana in his right hand and a wakizashi in his left, in a reverse grip. He has pale skin and a pink scar across his left eye, and long black hair.
