- Before making its debut in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, the Wargod race was first mentioned in supplementary material of Megami Ibunroku Persona as an alternative name for the Justice Arcana. The design philosophy in the first Persona game is that each Arcana is an one-to-one equivalent to specific demon races, with Justice representing a race that, at the time, had not made a proper game appearance.
