Catherine is a video game created by Atlus that has had multiple crossovers and references with the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Catherine is a puzzle game developed by Atlus for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011. It was later ported to Windows in 2019 as Catherine Classic. The game follows Vincent Brooks as he struggles with a decision between his girlfriend, Katherine, and his secret lover, Catherine. Vincent hangs out with his friends at a bar called the Stray Sheep.
An enhanced remake titled Catherine Full Body came out in 2019 for ps4 and vita in Japan, and received an English localization on ps4 later that year. Full Body was ported to Nintendo Switch in 2020, and included all dlc from the PlayStation versions in the purchase. It introduced Rin, a new potential love interest for Vincent.

- There's a Teddie doll on the counter at the Stray Sheep
- The bathroom has a poster with Teddie and a poster with Rise's name on it.
- Gekkoukan High School's school emblem can be seen in the far right-most corner of the bar.
- When exiting the bar, a poster depicting the Japanese box art for Persona 3 FES can be seen on the right side of the screen, albeit partially obscured by the Stray Sheep's neon sign.
- 37(?) of the 52(?) unlockable songs in the jukebox come from a Megami Tensei game:

Catherine: Full Body
- Joker is a playable DLC character in the game's Colosseum two-player mode and Tower of Babel single-player mode. The voices of other Thieves members can be heard when Joker is used.
- Leblanc and the rest of the Phantom Thieves also make a brief appearance in a cutscene together with Trisha, unlocked after the player completes a level in Babel as Joker.
- Rin's room has a small model of Wanna-kun, a mascot for a security company from Persona 5.

Trivia
- All of the songs featured in the Jukeboxes in both games are from games originally produced and composed by Hashino and Meguro respectively.
- Soejima was also the character designer for P3/4, while Kaneko was the designer for DDSAT and Nocturne.
- In Atlus's game development timeline, Catherine was developed immediately after wrapping up Persona 4.[citation needed] It was directed by Katsura Hashino, with character designs by Shigenori Soejima and music by Shoji Meguro. The original game was developed using the Gamebryo game engine, which was treated as a testing ground for the in-house engine that Atlus developed for Persona 5.[citation needed] To develop Catherine Full Body the entire game had to was rebuilt from the ground up in the same engine as P5.
