Café Leblanc is a primary location in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. The café storage attic is the protagonist's home for the year, and the restaurant below is run by his temporary guardian and probationary officer, Sojiro Sakura.

Gameplay

Persona 5 / Persona 5 Royal

Café Leblanc is where most game days start and each block of free time begins. The building is divided into the café proper on the first floor and the attic on the second floor where the protagonist lives. The attic space also becomes the planning hideout of the Phantom Thieves partway through the game.

The café environs provide the ability to pass time, perform activities that gain Social Stats, establish or progress multiple Confidants, obtain items that can be useful in the Metaverse, exercise to increase the protagonist's HP stat, and obtain any DLC content. Over the course of the game, various patrons of Leblanc can be periodically interacted with or eavesdropped on for commentary or foreshadowing regarding in-game events.

On specific days, a friend may visit Leblanc with the option to choose to hang out with them for the afternoon. Doing so will pass time, but provides points toward a social stat and a chance for points toward that friend's Confidant. A hangout can sometimes be extended into the evening for additional Confidant points.
