Game Gear

The Game Gear is an 8-bit fourth generation handheld video game console developed by Sega and released April 21, 1989 in Japan, July 31, 1989 in North America, and September 28, 1990 in Europe. It featured a full-color backlit screen with a landscape orientation. It struggled against the less powerful Game Boy because of its poor battery life.
The first Megami Tensei game released on the platform was an expanded port of Last Bible on April 22, 1994. It received a very small throwback emulation console release called the Game Gear Micro in 2020, which featured a 1-inch screen and four models with four games each. The red model featured both of the Megami Tensei games released on the system.[1]
