Case Files in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Raidou can begin completing Case Files immediately after defeating Tsuchigumo partway through Chapter 1. New Case Files will be automatically added to Raidou's list as the investigation progresses.

No.03 A "Special Case"? Gentleman in a Suit Tsukudo-cho "I've heard that the Narumi Detective Agency only takes 'special cases.' You'll hear me out, won't you?"

As you can see, the agency has received a case. Something about it does seem off, and as such, Narumi has shelved the matter. However, we can hardly ignore the needs of the Capital's citizens.

For whatever reason, the client is looking for ox bezoars. Once we have 1 Ox Bezoar, we should hand it over directly. 		Episode 1 - Defeat Tsuchigumo
No.04 Eyes on the Prize Fox (Left) Nameless Shrine Foxtail x1 There are two fox statues at the Nameless Shrine, which together represent balance between all things. And it just so happens that these statues are inhabited by supernatural entities that aid Yatagarasu by providing advice to us Devil Summoners.

It appears the statue on the left will track how many Aril Rifts you have purged, and reward you for your progress. You would do well to work towards these rewards, for your own training if nothing else.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Aril Rifts outside of Tsukudo-cho as well. 		Episode 1 - Defeat Tsuchigumo
No.05 Intensive Training Gouto-Douji Tamonten Shrine, Dark Tsukudo-cho Thin Grimoire x4 Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, protector of the people... In the name of readying yourself for inevitable combat against powerful foes, you mustn't neglect your daily training. Specific demons have been prepared for such training, and you must defeat them within a time limit.

You can reach Dark Tsukudo-cho quickly by utilizing the express streetcars. 		Episode 1 - Overhear the conversation in the Daidouji Residence

Forge one of the following blades at the Goumaden through Sword Alchemy, then show it to the apprentice waiting outside the soda joint:

No.08 Respect for the Elderly Gouto-Douji; intel provided by Tae Asakura Ginza-cho Raidou, you should regularly sweep the Capital to see if any of the people may require assistance of some sort or another.

Speaking of... Tae mentioned that automobile traffic has been rising as of late, causing difficulties for the elderly. Society is rapidly evolving, and those who cannot keep up are being left behind. No doubt Tae considers this a serious problem—quite an admirable disposition, unlike Narumi's.

No.09 Voice of the Animals Gouto-Douji Amazing Science Lab As you have been charged with safeguarding the Capital, your duties include protecting not just the people, but its animals as well.

Consider this part of your training: use a demon with the ability Read Mind and converse with an animal. Perhaps you might discuss a topic relevant to all creatures, such as hopes and dreams.

The Tarrasque had this to say: "I'm in the mood to drink something with some kick to it. Vodka oughta do. Seeing as how the Daidouji Family's rich, they gotta have something lying around."

I do have some misgivings about this, but I suppose we can use the Lockpick that we got from Konnou-ya and take a thorough look around the Daidouji Residence. 		Episode 2 - Buy the Lockpick
No.12 Feeling Watched Freak Show Owner Fukagawa-cho "Shishiou" Sake x1 The owner of the establishment sent us the following message.

"My team has been uncomfortable, saying they feel like someone is watching them from the thin slot in the wall the sliding door goes into when you open it. Some of them even say they almost felt like they were getting pulled into it. Could you come by the freak show in Fukagawa-cho and take a look at the sliding door? You should be able to find something sweet to attract insects at either Fujiko Parlor or Kugizen. Send one of your demons on a solo investigation to procure it.

Once acquired, you can place it on the tree near the entrance of the Nameless Shrine. Then, reexamine the tree after a full moon has appeared. 		Begin Episode 3

No.15 Slay the Demon Forces The Herald of Yatagarasu Training Hall B2 Renki x1 A letter arrived for you from the Herald of Yatagarasu.

"We have heard word of your exploits, Raidou Kuzunoha XIV—you appear to be hard at work. In the hopes that you will seek to put forth even greater effort, we hereby grant you access to the Training Hall. To commemorate this occasion, we have prepared a special trial for you, by which you must defeat the demon forces within the time limit. The Training Hall can be reached through the washstand at the Nameless Shrine. Once you have entered, make your way down to floor B2." 		Begin Episode 3
No.16 A Demon Kingdom Devil Summoner Rokugoro Outside the Shin-Sekai Soda Joint It appears that a fellow Devil Summoner is in need of a particular demon. Devil Summoners that work for Yatagarasu, such as us, may sometimes transfer demons to one another for the purpose of maintaining connections and the balance of power.

This Devil Summoner seems to adore demons to the degree that they have collected all sorts of them in an effort to found their own kingdom where the demons will roam free. How incredibly bizarre... I wonder if we're even able to accept this task.

The requested demon is one Jack Frost. You can meet with the client outside the Soda Joint.

You may obtain the demon through either the art of confinement or demon fusion, or even summoning from the Devil Chart if you already have it registered.

Once you have delivered the demon, you will not get it back, so be sure to register it to the Devil Chart and/or its Premium counterpart beforehand. (The reward money may be enough to resummon the demon.) 		Begin Episode 3

I asked the city workers for help, but they're all a bunch of blathering dullards—no help at all. Detective, you mind getting rid of that mutt for us?" Anyway, I'm counting on you to put together that mahjong set. I've got a feeling one of the foreign merchants in Harumi-cho will have the goods. And maybe check it out in both the real world and the Dark Realm just in case." Episode 4 - Defeat Triglav

No.22 Peeping Prohibited Tokyo Police Department Fukagawa-cho riverside The police have gone through Yatagarasu to relay this request to us. (The audacity, blowing us off and then crawling back when they need help...)

"For several days now, the people of Fukagawa-cho have reported incidents of being spied on by a suspicious man, but despite all our efforts, we have been unable to find the culprit. We suspect that this case may be 'outside our jurisdiction,' so we are making an official request to Yatagarasu for assistance. The scene of the alleged crimes can be found at a private home across the river. We hope we can count on your cooperation to swiftly resolve this case."

Raidou, if this peeper isn't human, then making use of the Investigation Skill "Allure" may provide quick results. If you don't have a demon that can use Allure, you may want to take advantage of Search Fusion at the Goumaden. 		Episode 4 - Obtain the Flute of Rhone

No.24 Bandmates Wanted Anonymous Demon Amazing Science Lab Renki x1 The demon submitting this request doesn't seem to mean any harm, so perhaps you can lend a hand, Raidou?

"In this current era of Taisho, a form of music known as 'jazz' has gained quite an audience. Demon though I may be, I find this jazz pleasant and inspiring, as it seems to chase away negative emotions. So entranced I have become by jazz that I would like to start my own jazz band. However, I have yet to find any other members. Please, kind Devil Summoner, could you find me the demons I need to start my band? I am looking for the following 3 demons:
1. Sati of the Pyro Order, who might provide fiery beats.
2. Flaemis of the Element Order, who might contribute uplifting brass.
3. Ara Mitama of the Mitama Order, who might play a powerful horn.

"Zdravstvuyte. I am a visitor from another country. I have heard that the thing to try in the Capital is its Tokyo-style Luxury Eel. However, the seas around the Capital have grown quite filthy—a terrible price to pay for modernization, da? I believe the eels will not be long for this world (do not ask how I know), so this may be my only chance to enjoy one. Naturally, eels reside in the ocean, and so you must ride across the water if you hope to find one. After securing an eel, bring it to the chef outside of the Italian restaurant in Harumi-cho."

I must say, this tourist's manner of speech is uncomfortably familiar... 		Episode 5 - Defeat Nebiros
No.26 A Kuzunoha Custom Fox (Right) Nameless Shrine

Now this takes me back... It is custom for a new Devil Summoner of the Kuzunoha to receive a task from the fox statue as a form of training.

"Visit each branch of the Training Hall and search for the six numbers. Once they have been found, return and tell me the total sum. The locations of these numbers are as follows:
1) Training Hall B1
2) Training Hall B2
3) Training Hall B3
4) Training Hall B4
5) Training Hall - East
6) Training Hall - North
You will find one number at each location. There are six in all, labeled from A to F. Look closely for the shining spots on the floor where they have been carved. Once you have discerned the sum total, speak to me, the right fox statue, and give me your answer."

It may also benefit you to know that, while in the Training Hall branches, your demons with the Scavenger skill have a small chance (and I emphasize "small") of picking up incenses.

"The demon said to be an omen of misfortune, Kudan, has appeared in the Capital to lead its citizens astray. With the masses struggling to get by in their daily lives, they are more likely than ever to embrace the demon's fatalistic prophesies. We ask that you eliminate Kudan before she can further poison the minds of the people. Fortunately, she has yet to enter this world. No.31 Hello...? Uncle Red & Uncle Black Tsukudo-cho phone booth This request comes from a pair of gentlemen who were wearing red and black. They asked for you specifically. It is probably safe to assume they are demons.

"This is a request for Raidou Kuzunoha XIV. We have performed the forbidden act of granting transient life to a deceased girl, wishing only to continue living with her. At this moment, her soul should still be wandering the world of the dead. If you would be so kind as to lend us your aid, your first task would be to make an ally of Belial of the Pyro Order, then proceed to the phone booth in Tsukudo-cho. After that, gain another demon ally in Nebiros of the Pagan Order, and go to the phone booth in Harumi-cho. Lastly, with both Belial and Nebiros as demon allies, make your way to the phone booth in Ginza-cho. Surely, that is where we will be able to see her..." 		Begin Episode 8

Based on our investigation, it seems job seekers who have visited a shrine in Sakuradayama for luck in their job searches suddenly lock themselves away shortly after. For my master to include me within the bounds of full capability, my conjecture is that I should practice commanding demons independently, and so I am requesting 1 Pixie of the Skill Order that knows the skill Agidyne. A messenger is waiting in Ginza-cho, so in theory, you will make the delivery there.
P.S. I suspect the Pixie would look charming in a kimono, so as part of the process, I have prepared one for her."

Another reason I have come here is to defeat Dainichi Nyorai, who has transformed into Asura. Allow me to share with you the details...

I would like you to defeat Asura, who has taken refuge in Dimensional Rift - 199X, which you will find ancillary to Akarana Corridor - 1990.

You see, as we were all sorting out the predicament of sending you back to your time (the time we are currently in), my Raido received orders from Yatagarasu to subdue Dainichi Nyorai, who had gone berserk. However, once we at last cornered and nearly subdued him, he transformed into Asura and managed to escape into the rift that we'd opened for the Ritual of Soul-Sending at Ushigome-Gaeri Bridge.

In the Showa era of my timeline, conflict between the gods is escalating, thus creating tension in human societies across the world. Asura is supposed to maintain balance in the universe as Dainichi Nyorai. If this conflict continues, the very order of the world may collapse—the heavens will split as the gods clash with one another, and earthly hostilities and agitation may evolve into a world war.

Yatagarasu suspects that Asura may have entered the year 199X under the assumption that it is a crucial point in determining the flow of history both past and future. The dimensional rift of 199X should be in some way connected to that of 1990. You may need to head there and Inspect the area for a lead.
