Black Ooze is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Black Ooze is an original Demon, often stated to be the result of another Demon failing to properly form itself, losing its mind and mindlessly consuming its prey or resources for its own physical growth.

Black Ooze's name may be inspired by Gray Ooze and Black Pudding, two monsters from the Dungeons & Dragons franchise.

Design

Black Ooze is a recolor of Slime, appearing as a sentient pile of a black and red substance with a pair of orange eyes and a featureless mouth.
