Synopsis
While cleaning out a local library, students Jin, Akira, and Rena discover a Demon encyclopedia thought to have been written by the occult. Rena explains that Devils coexist with humans in an imaginary world called Valhalla, then takes notice of an incantation written in the encyclopedia. As the three students recite the incantation, time freezes, and a shrine maiden named Ami summons them to a desolate Valhalla. Ami pleads for Jin and Akira, whom she claims are the Son of Light and Prince of Darkness, to save Valhalla with their latent abilities, as the world was ruined by the evil Imperial Army. Gargoyles suddenly appear and attempt to take a Time Key and Time Chain from Ami, until Jin and Akira fight back using gun-like Devilisers to summon the Devils Rand and Gale. With their new partners, Jin, Akira, Rena, and Ami embark on a journey to save Valhalla from annihilation and find a way back home.

Athena refuses to return to her barren home, so Ogma abducts her at night and brings her to a Time Hole out of fear that history itself is in danger. Jin supports Athena's decision, but as the land and Hermit Village slowly wither away, she chooses to enter the Time Hole while carrying Jin's clover. In doing so, the land flourishes again, and Jin finds a clover engraved on the Chorus Tree.}}

Synopsis

While cleaning out a local library, students Jin, Akira, and Rena discover a Demon encyclopedia thought to have been written by the occult. Rena explains that Demons coexist with humans in an imaginary world called Valhalla, then takes notice of an incantation written in the encyclopedia. Gargoyles suddenly appear and attempt to take a Time Key and Time Chain from Ami, until Jin and Akira fight back using gun-like Devilisers to summon the Demons Rand and Gale. With their new partners, Jin, Akira, Rena, and Ami embark on a journey to save Valhalla from annihilation and find a way back home.

After Ami and Skuld agree to find a way to send Athena back in time, she talks with Jin in a field, reflecting on how desolate the land was in the past. Athena and her father had tried growing Chorus Trees to nurture the land, though all of their attempts failed, and her father eventually died. She explores the field with Jin, who gifts her a four-leaf clover. Meanwhile, Ogma sees the Chorus Tree wither, the result of a time paradox. Athena refuses to return to her barren home, so Ogma abducts her at night and brings her to a Time Hole out of fear that history itself is in danger. Jin supports Athena's decision, but as the land and Hermit Village slowly wither away, she chooses to enter the Time Hole while carrying Jin's clover. In doing so, the land flourishes again, and Jin finds a clover engraved on the Chorus Tree.

As a new history unravels, the souls of fallen Demons are resurrected, and nature blooms throughout the wasteland. Their mission fulfilled, the Devil Children and Rena bid farewell to their companions and enter a stream of energy, awaking in their school's library where time has begun to move again. The kids resume their normal lives, but while the library is empty, the book of Demons opens up and the words mysteriously fade. An angelic being hijacks electronic devices around the world, exclaiming that mankind is at risk of Armageddon. Jin sees a light strike Tokyo Tower later that night, arriving at the scene with Akira and Rena. Demonic tendrils emerge from the tower, grabbing the Devil Children and bystanders, apart from Rena. The tendrils are suddenly eradicated in a golden light, manifesting as the Angel Enoch, who once again exclaims that mankind is in danger.

Enoch invites the people of Tokyo to join him in creating a brighter future before vanishing. Adults and children alike start to depend on Enoch for protection, with strong believers able to channel his blessing on their cell phones. Suspicious of Enoch's motives, the trio look through the book of Demons to find its pages of a peaceful future completely blank. The land tremors as Enoch erects the "Angel Tower" in the middle of the city, proclaiming it serves to protect humanity from an impending demonic force. He emits a light that brands an insignia on everyone's foreheads, though Jin and Akira shield themselves from it, watching as the masses mindless pray to Enoch. Jin confronts his mother, who received the angel's blessing over email, arguing that Enoch may not truly be a savior. Realizing that Enoch has people under his control, Jin meets up with Akira and Rena, failing to convince everyone that the angel should not have dominion over their world. Just then, Enoch appears before the trio and urges them to join his conquering of mankind. They refuse, to which Enoch ensnares them with the same tendrils that shrouded Tokyo Tower, preparing to annihilate them. Rena's laptop then turns into the Vinecom, summoning Nemea, Ami, Rand, and Gale from Valhalla. Jin and Akira regain their Devilisers and charge against Enoch, though he withstands their attacks and takes Rena.

September 27, 2003
Enoch departs for the Angel Tower with Rena in his grasp. Afterwards, Ami and the Demons explain that Enoch has also been trying to manipulate the people of Valhalla. Ami states that Enoch is not just after the human world and Valhalla, but is possibly gathering their power to conquer a third world. As for Rena, she has a series of nightmares before waking in the Angel Tower. Enoch omnipotently tells her that, unlike Jin and Akira, she is a mere human, and thus received his blessing over email, too. While Ami, Rand, and Gale fight the tendrils, Jin and Akira climb their way up to an opening in the Angel Tower. Inside, Rena shows up under Enoch's control, though Jin's words almost bring her back to her senses. Enoch intervenes and tries to destroy the Devil Children, until the spirits of the Son of Light and Prince of Darkness emerge. Rena regains control of herself and the tendrils vanish, upon which Ami and the Demons arrive. Rand and Gale strike Enoch with their abilities, with the angel exclaiming that the battle has only just begun. The Angel Tower fades into the sky, and without Enoch, the masses are no longer brainwashed. As life seems normal again, the trio part ways with Ami and the Demons once more. However, Rena receives a phone call the next day, and news broadcasts are heard reporting the appearance of several angels. She walks with Jin and Akira, raising her head to reveal Enoch's insignia, while Enoch himself flickers onto her cell phone.
