D-Children: Light & Dark
Zabel appeared in the episode "Drill the Seas!", living in a port town near a volcano. After a group of Balors working for the Imperial Army seized control of the town and its harbor, Zebel took it upon himself to drill an undersea tunnel connecting to the nearby continent. When Jin and Rand arrived at Zabel's tunnel, he explained that his daughter fell ill, and the proper remedy was only available at a hospital overseas. However, the Imperial Army forbade Zabel from boarding a ship, resulting in his daughter's death. Shortly after her passing, the Demon Issitoq showed up and grew a bond with Zabel.
With Jin and Rand's motivation, Zabel drilled to the other continent, but they were quickly persecuted by Balors. Luckily, Rand and Gale got powered up by their partners' Devilisers, liberating the port town and its harbor. His goals finally met, Zabel hoped that his daughter finally found peace, and parted ways with Issitoq.
