Deviliser
The Deviliser, short for Devil Riser Gun, is a recurring item in the Devil Children series. It is a tool that functions similarly to the Demon Summoning Program, allowing Devil Children and Angel Children to summon and command Devils that they recruited, and is paired with a Vinecom. In DemiKids Light Version and Dark Version, it is known as the Demiloc.
During the games, the player will receive a second Deviliser called the King Riser, known in DemiKids as the Kingloc.
Profile
In Devil Children Black Book and Red Book and Devil Children White Book, the basic Devilisers resemble revolver guns with six Memory Bullet (メモリーブレット) slots in the cylinder. A Memory Bullet contains the Devil Code (デビルコード) of a Devil ally. Setsuna Kai and Masaki Kuzuha's Devilisers are silver with a square barrel, while Takaharu Ougi's is teal. Mirai Kaname's is pink and has a more rounded shape. All models have a pentagram symbol near the cylinder release.
In Devil Children Light Book and Dark Book and Devil Children Fire Book and Ice Book, the basic Devilisers are more high tech in design. Jin and Akira's Devilisers have an identical dragon-like shape, sporting wing accessories and a face attachment near the muzzle. Jin's has a red and silver color scheme, while Akira's is blue and orange.
Gameplay

Throughout the series, the basic Deviliser summons one ally Devil to accompany the player's partner Devil in battle. The Deviliser can only hold Common, General, and Elite-Class Devils, whereas the King Riser can hold Devils of any Class but has limited capacity. In Devil Children Black Book and Red Book and Devil Children White Book, the player must set either the Deviliser or King Riser as their primary Riser. In Devil Children Light Book and Dark Book and Devil Children Fire Book and Ice Book, however, the King Riser does not need to be set, since it serves as a third party slot.
Devils are loaded into the Deviliser/King Riser on the Vinecom's Access (アクセス) and Arrange (ならびかえ) screens, and the first Devil that has not fainted in the list is the one that will be drawn first. If a Devil's HP hits 0, or the Call"Summon" in DemiKids (コール) action is chosen, the next Devil on that Riser's list will be swapped into battle.
In White Book and Light Book and Dark Book, the player can equip Power Units to either Riser for additional effects such as increased Devil storage, stat boosts in battle, or improved negotiation with specific Devil Races. Each Power Unit also has a size, which must be accounted for when loading them into Risers. In Fire Book and Ice Book, Power Units are replaced by Cards.

Anime Appearances
DeviChil
Much like in the video games, the Deviliser in DeviChil is used to recruit and summon Devils. During either process, the user pulls their Deviliser's trigger while exclaiming "Call!" (コール), firing rainbow streams of light which shape a pentagram. During recruitment, the befriended Devil enters the pentagram and is immediately transferred to Mirai's Vinecom, while during a summon, the Devil emerges from the pentagram.
D-Children: Light & Dark
The Deviliser in D-Children: Light & Dark works slightly differently from its video game counterpart. Jin and Akira use their Devilisers to Devil Charge (デビルチャージ) Rand and Gale, creating a pentagram that temporarily gives them stronger forms. In battle, they can Devilise (デビライズ) enemies once they are weakened in order to seal them away. Rena can also use the Vinecom to retrieve cards of Devil allies, which when inserted into a Deviliser, summons the depicted Devils. When not in use, a Deviliser may be stored within an armlet. Should the wielder call upon their Deviliser, it will take shape in their hand.
Manga Appearances
Devil Children
Devilisers in the Devil Children manga serve their main function of calling allied Devils into battle. However, the King Riser is absent in this adaptation, with the basic Deviliser able to carry King-Class Devils. By utilizing the energy of summoning, Setsuna can fire the Deviliser like actual pistol, as seen in the fight against Hel in Ice Land.
