Marie is the Aeon Social Link, which was added for Golden.

Game Appearances

Persona 4 Golden

Marie first appears on April 11th when the protagonist arrives at Yasoinaba Station and drops a note, which she picks up and returns to him. When Ryotaro Dojima stops in the Central Shopping District, Marie appears again as one of the characters the protagonist can speak to on the street, though she doesn't seem to remember meeting him shortly before. When the protagonist begins visiting the Velvet Room, he discovers that Marie has taken up residence there and has a new blue hat and bag with "V" lettering. She assists Igor and Margaret in the Velvet Room by copying Skill Cards at the protagonist's request. Periodically, the protagonist will find one of Marie's poems on the floor of the limousine. After the protagonist finishes reading it, Marie will rush in and take it back, embarrassed.

Aside from their interactions in the Velvet Room, Marie's involvement in the story of Golden is up to the protagonist getting to know her through her optional Aeon Social Link. As it turns out, Marie has no memories, and the protagonist can take her around Inaba, introducing her to his friends and trying to help her remember something about herself.
