Persona 3, released outside of Japan as Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, is a 2006 role-playing game for the PlayStation 2, and the fourth entry in the Template:Serieslink. It was developed and published by Atlus and released on July 13, 2006 in Japan. A remaster of the game for the PlayStation 2 titled Template:Gamelink was released in 2007, featuring a new epilogue titled The Answer. A second remaster for the PlayStation Portable, Template:Gamelink, was released in 2009, featuring point-and-click navigation and a female protagonist option. A full remake titled Template:Gamelink will be released in early 2024.
