In Sector Antlia, the Protagonist encounters demon mercenaries created by Morax to invade the Earth and kill humans. When the Protagonist reaches the end of the sector, he comes face to face with Morax, who declares that they will soon march on the human world to have their revenge on humanity. Morax says that despite blaming demons for violence, it is humans that have perfected the art of slaughter, and that demons only need to copy their behavior to be efficient at killing humans. He says that demons are the real heroes and attacks the Protagonist after asking him if he agrees, but after he is defeated, he weakly tells him that it was humans who beckoned them, dropping a Rosetta Stone when he dies.
Later, at Sector Fornax, the Protagonist is ambushed by a revived Morax, who transforms into his true form Moloch to exact his revenge on him. He is, however, defeated, leaving him to promise that as long as humanity exists, Mother will continuously conceive and birth new demons as he dies.
