Persona 5 is a 2016 role-playing game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and the sixth entry in the Persona series. It was developed and published by Atlus and released on September 15, 2016 in Japan. The game subsequently received a worldwide release in all other regions on April 4, 2017.

A remaster of the game, titled Persona 5 Royal, was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2019.
