The Thieves Den, also known as My Palace, is a location in Persona 5 Royal.
Game Appearances
The Thieves Den is a non-canon cognitive Palace of the protagonist, in which the protagonist's memories and emotions coalesce and take form. While in the Thieves Den, the player can view various media unlocked through game progression, characters interacting in-game locations, and in-game achievements. In addition, the player can change their appearance and play a card mini-game.
The Thieves Den initially becomes accessible after May 5th on player's first playthrough, and then progress in the Thieves Den carries over across all of the player's save files. Since reaching all endings is needed to 100% complete the Thieves Den, it is helpful to have multiple save files at multiple points in the game and utilize New Game+.
On the second floor of the Thieves Den there are various Transformation Pads placed on the ground, which allow the player to transform into the Phantom Thief member on the pad when it's stepped onto and explore the Den as that person. If a character has not been unlocked as a party member in the main story, their pad is grey. Each transformation target has various outfits that the player can cycle through by repeatedly stepping on the pad. New outfits are unlocked as the story progresses.
Awards
The Thieves Den has a set of in-game achievements, referred to as Awards. Completing an Award gives the player a set amount of P-Medals, which is a currency that is exclusive to the Thieves Den. These medals can be used to buy items in the Gallery, Movie, Music, or Den Design areas of the Thieves Den.
Palace Maker
This section is a stub. You can help Megami Tensei Wiki by expanding it. | |
Reason: Fill in the prices for ones that are blank, as well as the single missing items in Daily Life and Confidants. Also figure out unlock conditions for everything. |
These items can be purchased in the vending machine at the front of the Thieves Den and, once purchased, they can be placed in the middle of the Den as decorations. Phantom Thieves members can appear at these decorations upon loading/reloading the Thieves Den, offering unique dialogue about the item they appear at. Confidants are able to appear at decorations as well after completing the game with either ending.

Trivia
- In the preview render for the Décor based on Futaba's Palace, it is possible to see leftover debug text with the words "Free Camera" in the top right corner.
- The hole created by Jose after first entering the Thieves Den is never repaired, and will be boarded up indefinitely.
- If Akechi is playing a game of Tycoon, neither Futaba nor Haru will join in the session with him.
- There are many movies, songs, decorations, and conversations that ultimately went left unused, such as a unmodeled and untranslated Dance Floor decoration from Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight or an award for repeatedly visiting the temple in Kichijoi. These scrapped unlockables can be all viewed on The Cutting Room Floor
