出身地：日本 夜になると現れ、男に取り憑きその血を吸う、美しい女の姿をした妖怪。「飛縁魔」と書き表される。 日本の吸血鬼ともいえるのがこのヒノエンマで、外見は美しく淑やかな女性だが、その本性は、取り憑いた男の血を一滴列らず吸いつくし、その命を奪うという、残酷で恐ろしい魔物である。 このヒノエンマという名前はもともと仏教から来たもので、僧が女性に迷って身を滅ぼすことのないよう悟すためのものであった。 Translation: Place of origin: Japan A yōkai who appears at night in the form of a beautiful woman, possessing men and sucking their blood. It is written as "flying fate demon". Hi no Enma can be described as a Japanese vampire. She has the outward appearance of a refined woman, but it is said her true nature is a dreadful monster who sucks every last drop of blood from the men she has possessed, taking their lives. The name Hi no Enma originally came from Buddhism, intended to help monks understand they should not to be led astray by women and fall into ruin.
