Aigis (romanized in Japanese material as Aegis) is a character first introduced in Persona 3. She is an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon and a member of S.E.E.S.
Profile
Aigis is an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon created by the Kirijo Group. She joins S.E.E.S. on July 21st and is an available party member. She attends Gekkoukan High as a second-year student in class 2-F. Aigis is very formal with her speech even when given permission to be informal with her friends.
Gameplay
Persona 3 / Persona 3 FES
Aigis joins the group on July 21st. She is first available on July 24th.
Unlike other party members, Aigis specializes in physical attacks at the expense of not learning elemental attacks. Her skillset consists of Slash, Strike and, eventually, all -kaja buff skills. Aigis's weapons of choice are her built-in firearms, covering her lack of Pierce skills.
Among the party members, Aigis has the highest Endurance and lowest Luck. Her Strength, Magic, and Agility are fairly average.
Aigis nullifies Poison and resists Pierce but is weak to Electricity. Her health pool complements her focus on Physical skills. Aigis also has a high Endurance stat, allowing her to survive against more damage.
Aigis possesses the unique mechanic of Orgia Mode, which is available from the Tactics menu. Orgia Mode, when activated, removes any ailments she is afflicted with and increases her damage output for three turns. However, during this time Aigis cannot exit Orgia Mode until she overheats. Once overheated, she will not be able to act for three turns unless she dies.

In Persona 3 Reload, Orgia has become a Theurgy skill.
Persona 4 Arena / Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
Aigis appears in Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax as a playable character. Aigis has two unique resources: bullets and Orgia Mode, both of which alter the properties of Aigis' moves and have icons around her SP bar indicating how much the resource can be used. Aigis' bullets are displayed to the side of her SP bar, and she begins the round with 120. Bullets are depleted when using certain normal and special moves, and cannot be recovered until a new round begins or her unique install super is used. Orgia Mode is displayed as a gauge above Aigis' SP bar, and acts as an alternate "stance" for her. It can be entered by performing her Furious Action or her Mode Change special move, and the gauge will slowly deplete as long as Orgia Mode is active, though performing certain moves will deplete set amounts. Aigis' true potential as a character is unlocked when in Orgia Mode, as she gains access to several new special moves and her movement capabilities are greatly increased, alongside other benefits. When Orgia Mode is depleted, Aigis will "overheat" and it will be inaccessible for some time. Overall, Aigis is a very strong character, capable of keeping the enemy away with her bullets and powerful anti-air attacks, as well as being very powerful on offense with her Orgia Mode, though the difficulty in managing her resources and execution can make her difficult to learn.
