Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons are characters in the Persona universe. They are sapient battle robots created by the Kirijo Group to battle shadows. They are designed with the appearance of young humans and are capable of emotion and human-level intelligence. They are outfitted with weaponry and the ability to summon a Persona. They are classified by Generation, the 1st to 3rd were vehicle-type, the 4th and later were humanoid, and Generation 5 introduced Plumes of Dusk for personality integration.[1][2]
They are most prominent in the plot of Persona 3 and spin-offs, with Aigis being the only one so far to be a party member and major character in a mainline game
