Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue is a 2017 side-scrolling platformer game for PC, and a spin-off prologue of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux from the Shin Megami Tensei series. The game was developed by ladybug and published by Atlus Japan on their website as a limited time, free download from October 16 to December 24, 2017.

The game received a fan translation by Brento_Bento.

One day, I received a mysterious message on my computer..... "Run the attached program and pierce the future......" This program was a terrifying one named Synchro, which linked my consciousness to a demon in the Schwarzverse, allowing me to control it. Why was this program sent......? And what kind of adventures will I have in the Schwarzverse?

Synopsis

After being sent a program by an unknown party, a human identified as Subject No. 02 has their mind synchronized with a Demon in the Schwarzwelt. He awakens as Jack Frost, with a feeling that there is something he must do. Subsequently, he is told that he is humanity's last hope, and that he must "pierce the future."

While traversing the Schwarzwelt, he rescues Jack-o'-Lantern, a Demon who was frozen by Black Frost, whom the two must now pursue.
