For Kanji Tatsumi's Persona in Persona 4, see Take-Mikazuchi (Persona).

Take-Mikazuchi is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

After Izanami died in childbirth while giving birth to Hinokagutsuchi, Izanagi retaliated by killing his child with a 10 bundle length sword called Ame no Ohabari, and Take-Mikazuchi was born when Hinokagutsuchi's blood spattered against a group of now-sacred rocks. To some, he is considered to be the son of the sword itself, and is thus associated with swords. He is also associated with thunder due to the character for thunder being used in his name.[1]
