Chidori Yoshino is a supporting character in Persona 3. She works as an assassin and is one of the members of Strega, alongside Takaya Sakaki and Jin Shirato.

Profile

Chidori wears a gothic lolita aesthetic with frills and sharp accessories on her head and ankles. Various people who see her around town call her weird and strange. Although most people associate goth with dark colors, Chidori's attire is almost entirely white with black accents contrasting against her bright red hair.

Persona 3

July - August, 2009

Chidori's first speaking line in Persona 3

Chidori first appears on July 7th, spying on S.E.E.S.'s successful operation on defeating the Lovers Shadow alongside Takaya and Jin. She also appears on July 27th during Strega's visit to Shinjiro, but would not properly have a speaking role until August 20th, where she can be seen drawing while Junpei was mindlessly walking through Port Island Station. Her first speaking line calls out to him for getting in her way and asking what he wants with her, the other apologizes but still took interest in her. Despite the awkward banter, the two would run to each other every so often during this time. On August 29th, the two meet again as Junpei recognizes her drawing on the exact same spot before. After both recognize they were surprised they remembered each other, the banter switches as he comments at how nice it feels to have something to do in passion, while Chidori blankly replied that she only draws because she feels like it. Despite the unexpected answer, he mentions he still wants to see her finished drawing later.

The two would not have a proper introduction to each other until August 31st, where Junpei introduces himself and asked for her name, immediately became sad at her lack of response and interpreted it as her not listening to what he says. As she continues to ignore the former and intend to leave him behind, in process Junpei took notice of blood dripping from her hand, which irritated her as he would always interfere. As he wraps her bleeding hand with a handkerchief, Chidori questions his panicked state and comments at how he is 'the weird one'. Only then did she properly introduce herself as an answer to the previous question and comments at her usual place, where he would find her to see her finished drawing.

Starting in November, the protagonist can encourage Junpei to visit Chidori at the hospital.
