Early Life

Meguro was born in Tokyo, Japan on June 4, 1971.

Career

Meguro was employed at Atlus in 1995 after sending in a demo tape and taking part in two interviews.[1] The first game he worked on at the company was Megami Ibunroku Persona for the Sony PlayStation,[2] composing about 16 tracks. Aria of the Soul, one of the tracks he composed for the game, would go on to become a staple of the Persona series. As the main composer for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne on the PlayStation 2, Meguro used a more orchestral sound for the game's soundtrack, while still incorporating the retro sounds of previous entries in the series.[1]
