Sebek is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Sebek,[a] also spelled as Sobek, is an ancient Egyptian god depicted as a crocodile or a man with the head of a crocodile. The son of Neith said to be the source of the river Nile itself, Sobek was a protector god and lord of crocodiles worshipped across Egypt though particularly in the city of Faiyum. He was associated with fertility due to his connections to the Nile and military strength for the natural ferocity of crocodiles. He has a strong connection with pregnancy, with some theorising that his name comes from the Egyptian word meaning "to impregnate", however other historians argue that it comes from the word meaning "to unite" as some myths give him a role in recovering the dismembered body of Osiris.
