Shakan is the power source of the Shekinah Glory and considered a sacred space within Bethel, where all but angels are prohibited to enter. However, the Nahobino is sent to Shakan by Mastema as it's being invaded by the army of Chaos in order to pursue the unknown figure controlling the recently summoned Tiamat.

Deep within the inner sanctum, it's revealed that this figure is Yoko Hiromine, who came to steal back a piece of herself that had been sealed by the Creator 18 years prior. Abdiel is unable to stop her and Yoko regains her full power then teleports away. Afterwards, Abdiel notices the presence of the Nahobino, initially not recognizing them, but then challenges them to battle for retaking the form of a Nahobino.
