Ankou is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

The Ankoù is a personification of death in Breton folklore. Analogues can be found in the Angau and the Ankow in the folklore of Wales and Cornwall, respectively.

Design

In Megami Ibunroku Persona, Ankou is depicted as a four-legged, skeletal creature with scythe-like forelimbs, a tattered red cloak with a frayed end serving as a tail, and a large red hat.
