Soul Hackers 2 is a 2022 role-playing game, the fifth entry in the Devil Summoner series, and the second entry in the Soul Hackers sub-series. It was developed and published by Atlus and released worldwide for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on August 25, 2022.

Tekunorojī no saihate kara umare jinchi o koeta kono sonzai wa, aru toki sekai no horobi o kenchi suru. Aion no Ringo to Figu wa, horobi o kaihi suru tame ni hito no sekai e to oritatsu koto ni. Horobi kaihi ni hitsuyō to sareru futari no jinbutsu no hogo ni mukau mo, dochira mo sude ni korosarete ita. Ringo wa Aion no motsu tokushu na chikara "Souru Hakku" o jikkō, taishō no sosei o hatasu. Hack the end of the world A story set in the mid-21st century, some time in the near future. Devil summoners, those who command the supernatural power of "demons", have been living in the world of darkness. They have been maneuvering unbeknownst to humanity and defending society from behind the scenes. And there is another presence that watches over the world: "Aion". This entity, born from the bleeding edge of technology, surpassing human intellect, one day detects the fall of the world. In order to avoid ruin, Ringo and Figue of Aion descend upon the human world. They head towards the two persons whose protection is necessary to avoiding ruin, but both have already been killed. Ringo uses a unique power held by Aion, the "Soul Hack", to revive the target. Given a "second chance" using their regrets at death as fuel for revival, the devil summoners join forces with Ringo and Figue to pursue a mystery with the future of the world at stake. Can they avert the crisis of ruin――?

Unlike previous Devil Summoner titles, characters do not fight alongside their demons in Soul Hackers 2. In this game, summoning works differently, dubbed by Ringo as "Aion-enhanced summoning," and demons are equipped by characters directly, which affects their stats, skill list, and resistances.

Players may freely toggle between normal and high-speed combat. Adjustments Adjusted how long loading-screen tips are shown. Changed the flow of on-screen prompts during soul level increase to reduce the risk of incorrect input from accidental button presses. Added the ability to teleport directly to shops from the City Map. Added the ability to move to the City Map from the Safehouse/Axis. Adjusted and rebalanced enemy spawn rate in dungeons. Rebalanced chances of meeting new demons during Demon Recon. Adjusted skill inheritance rates during demon fusion. Adjusted Costs for summoning demons from the Demon Compendium.
