Horus is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Horus is the ancient Egyptian god of the sun, sky, healing, and protection, and is the son of Isis and Osiris. Horus was closely associated with pharaohs, and was seen as a protector of kings. Like many other Egyptian gods, Horus is depicted with the head of an animal, his being a falcon.

Horus plays a key role in the legend of Osiris, the most foundational story of ancient Egyptian lore. In the story, Horus battled against the usurper Set for eighty years over control of the world. After being unable to end the conflict through battle, Horus and Set agreed to split the world in half and rule equally - Horus took the earth, and Set took the sky.
