Profile
Origin
Design
According to designer Masayuki Doi, Amanozako was designed with the idea of a memorable character that players would find endearing. Her wings and sandals were elements taken from Tengu, while the colors and patterns on her clothing were inspired by that of ancient Japanese civilization. Since Amanazako was born from Susano-o, she was designed to look slightly artificial, with her hairstyle made to resemble a helmet. While she was originally going to be closer in appearance to Tengu or Amanojaku, her in-game personality led to these design elements being toned back.[1]
