Yuriko first appears during the Hero's dream, claiming that she has been waiting for him her entire life. She briefly encounters the Hero several times and can be found in the Shopping Arcade's cafe, the ECHO Building, and the Neutral bar in Shinjuku.

When the Hero meets the leader of the Resistance and she is revealed to be the Heroine, Yuriko kidnaps her in the middle of their conversation. Afterwards, Yuriko holds a public trial for the Heroine in the audience of demons and Gotou's JSDF soldiers. She charges the Heroine with attempting to sabotage Gotou's forces as the Resistance leader, which although Gotou forgives, her crimes cannot be forgotten. As such, Yuriko sentences the Heroine to death. But before she can begin the execution, Yuriko notices the Hero and dismisses him, telling him she would have left the Heroine alone had he chosen her instead. She then summons demons to fight the party.

In Roppongi, after the Hero defeats the demon Belial by sealing them within the Gushing Jar, Yuriko suddenly appears and asks him for the jar. If he refuses, she casts Shibaboo on him and steals it anyway. Later in Ueno, the Hero meets the mysterious figure, Louis Cyphre, accompanied by Yuriko, who is insistent to see the Hero one last time. She laments her inability to separate him from the Heroine, claiming that he was forced choose the Heroine over her, his would-be partner. She asserts that if she cannot have him, then no one can, and reveals her true form as the demon Lilith to kill him. However, she is unable to find the resolve to follow through and reverts back into her human form, leaving the Hero with Louis Cyphre after saying her last goodbye.

Visionaries

Yuriko is featured in two Visionary cutscenes in the Game Boy Advance and iOS versions of the game.

In "Snake Charm", Louis Cyphre assigns Yuriko to tempt the Hero towards Chaos. While she's unsure if her charm will work on someone his age, Yuriko accepts, saying that she's going to sway him by visiting him in a dream.

In "Black Moon", Louis Cyphre forces Yuriko to give up on the Hero after continuously failing to seduce him. Instead, she's told to side with Chaos Hero since he has stronger faith in power. Yuriko is unable to respond, but resigns herself to his orders.
